What is the minimum and maximum age required to rent a vehicle?
Renters must be 21 years or older.
Is there a required interval between bookings?
Yes, there is a 3-hour buffer required between the end of one rental and the start of the next.
Do you offer any discounts or promotions?
Yes! After your first rental, you’ll receive 10% off your next rental.
Is a security deposit required?
Not at this time.
What is the shortest and longest rental duration allowed?
Shortest rental: 24 hours
Longest rental: 3 months
How are sales tax, coupons, and additional fees applied?
All charges are applied in accordance with local sales tax laws.
How many miles are included with the rental?
Each rental includes 250 miles per day.
What are your standard business hours?
Our regular hours are 7:00 AM to 10:00 PM, daily.
What delivery locations do you offer, and what are the fees?
We may consider delivering a vehicle with advanced notice and approval from Alf X Car Rentals Personnel. Fees vary by location and must be agreed upon in advance.
What are the allowed pick-up and return times?
Pick-ups and returns are available between 7:00 AM and 10:00 PM.
Is there a specific schedule for custom deliveries?
No set schedule. Custom deliveries must be arranged in advance.
Do you allow pick-ups and returns outside business hours?
Yes, after-hours pick-up and return may be allowed with prior arrangement.
Are there any important extra details renters should know?
Young Driver Fee (ages 21–24): $200 + Alf X Car Rentals Personnel approval
Prepaid Gas: $55
Refueling Fee: $15 + cost of fuel
Late Return Fee: $25 per day
Retrieval Fee (if vehicle needs to be picked up): $100
Do you offer additional equipment or services? Any related fees?
You may park your personal vehicle in our driveway for the duration of your rental. A fee may apply.
What are the charges for exceeding the included mileage?
Additional mileage is charged at $0.25 per mile.
What is the cost for an additional driver?
There is no additional cost for an extra driver.
What are the penalties or fees for smoking in the vehicle?
Absolutely NO smoking of any kind (cigarettes, cigars, marijuana, vapes, etc.).
Evidence of smoking will result in a $200 cleaning fee.
We kindly ask: don't try to cover it up with fragrances—we will notice.
Are there any fees associated with EZ Pass or toll usage?
All vehicles are equipped with a Toll Roads Pass device.
Renters are responsible for all tolls incurred and should notify Alf X Car Rentals Personnel if they plan to use toll roads.
Toll charges may be billed 30–60 days after your rental, and invoices should be paid promptly.
Is there a cleaning fee? Under what conditions is it charged?
Cleaning fees are based on the condition of the vehicle at return:
Moderate Cleaning – $50 (mud, sand, small spills, etc.)
Heavy Cleaning – $100 (stains, strong odors, etc.)
Severe Cleaning – $150 (full detailing or steam cleaning required)
Pet Hair Removal – $150
Multiple Cleaning Issues – $250
